Congratulations to our participants of the 2009 Canadian National Carpenter, Millwright and Drywall competition, that was held on August 21st and 22nd, in Halifax. The Millwright representative was Matt Cummings of local 2262 and the Carpenter representative of local 1386 was Aaron Brideau. Matt Cummings finished first place in his division.

Congratulations to our first prize winner Dianne Harris and our second prize winner Kyle Graham. Dianne Harris was the winner of the five piece cedar patio set and Kyle was the winner of two adirondack cedar chairs.

The Carpenters Training Centre Of New Brunswick is proud to support the Telus Walk for the Cure.
Our team "Hammerin' Home A Cure' has pledged to raise $5000.00 to support research into juvenile diabetes.
To help us reach our goal, you can support us in two ways:
1. Make a donation to our team at www.jdrf.com
2. Purchase tickets to win a beautiful cedar patio set. Tickets are $2.00 or 3 for $5.00 and are for sale at the Training Centre.

Congratulations to all of those who participated in the 4th Annual St. Joseph Hospital Foundation Dragon Boat Festvial. The New Brunswick Regional Council of Carpenters team placed first in C Division!!!! GOOD JOB!
